the next decade, Stonehenge will be rescued from
the stranglehold of roads and traffic, and reunited
with its surrounding monuments and landscape. A
new world-class visitor centre will be built outside
the World Heritage Site. A large area of chalk downland
landscape will be created near the Stones and their
surrounding monuments. |
